BLAINE –E.R. Graves is being remembered as a fine gentleman, but also as a fine mechanic who operated the Blaine Exxon for almost 20 years before his death May 7. Graves was 81. He was buried May 10 at Graves-Ousley Cemetery inSharp’s Chapel. “He lived here in the community and worked at the station since 1998,” said Jim Frost, the station owner. “He was a good service station man. He did light mechanical work, oil changes, lubes and changed tires. He was as honest as he could be. He was a very good station attendant,” Frost said.
