BEAN STATION – The Town of Bean Station will host a free Movie in the Park Saturday, September 23.

The 2005 PG-rated movie “Dreamer” will be shown on the grounds of Harris Court, adjacent to Town Hall, free of charge.

Bean Station Mayor Terry Wolfe said, “This is a way for the town to give back to the community. By offering citizens a fun event that brings them together, we hope to help strengthen the bonds of our community members.”

The town will provide hot dogs, chips, bottled water, coffee, hot chocolate and popcorn to attendees, free of charge, as long as supplies last.

Everyone is encouraged to bring chairs or blankets and set up on the lawn at Harris Court for an evening of free food and entertainment. Moviegoers do not have to be a resident of Bean Station.

“Everyone is welcome,” Wolfe said.

The movie will begin at dusk. Hotdogs will be served beginning at 7:30 p.m.
