JOHNNY WALTER CANNON, 74, Knoxville, passed away Saturday, September 16 at home surrounded by his family. He attended New Hope Baptist Church, Corryton. He was a Navy Seal and served honorably in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Janie Cannon and brother, Charles Cannon Jr. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Luttrell) Cannon; daughter, Scarlett McBride (Tim); son, Dwayne Cannon; sisters, Eda Troutt (Bill) and Charlotte Cannon; stepchildren, Michael Scott (Susan) and Tonda Donaldson (Micah); seven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends met Tuesday, September 19 at Roseberry Cemetery for a graveside service, with Rev. Ralph Waggoner, Rev. Mark Large and Rev. Wesley Troutt officiating.
