Grainger FCCLA members compete at fair


KNOXVILLE – Members of Grainger High School FCCLA Chapter 2 competed in a variety of events at the Tennessee Valley Fair.

Allison Nickels placed first in Halloween Place Setting, Neely Yates placed first in Rustic Wedding Place Setting and Hannah Cure placed first in Cookies.

Alexis Hodge placed third in Cookies, and Kaylyn Munsey placed third in Muffins.

Myla McAnally, Mackenzie Brown and Lyndzee Purkey placed fourth in Interior Design Board, and Ashlyn Nickels placed fourth in Cookies. Breanna Soulages and Hadassah Jackson placed fifth in Gingerbread House.

Milla Brown placed eighth in Muffins.

Also competing were Alex Lynn in the T-Shirt Contest and Hannah Kelly in the Talent Show. Three FCCLA officers, Haylie Davenport, Myla McAnally and Mackenzie Brown participated in the School House Activity, which provided arts and crafts for children at the fair.
