WILMA RUTH WARRIX, 81, Andersonville, passed on to her Heavenly home Friday, September 22. She was a member of Cedar Ridge Baptist Church. She was born and grew up in Ash Camp, Kentucky. Life can be defined by what we love, who we love, and who loves us. She loved doing for others, and this always showed in her love of cooking, sewing, and gardening. She spent her life taking care of her family of whom she was very protective. It is an extraordinary thing when you realize how much of who you are will live on in others. Her beautiful smile and spunky spirit will be greatly missed. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carson and Josie Potter; grandparents, Keen and Dosie Potter and Noah and Sarah Wallace; three sisters; and four brothers. She is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Leon Warrix; daughter, Sheila Bailey and husband Robert; son, Scott Warrix; grandchildren, Bobby Bailey and wife, Ruth, Steven Bailey and wife, Celese and Andrew Bailey and wife, Joanna; great-grandchildren, Neyland, Savannah, Alexis, Ariel, Henley, Nathan and Alex; sister, Peggy Pridemore; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service was held Monday, September 25 in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home, with Rev. Larry Brannon officiating. The interment was held Tuesday, September 26 at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier. The family received friends Monday at Bridges Funeral Home 5430 Rutledge Pike, (865) 523-4999,
