RUTLEDGE – Clayton Homes in Rutledge was challenged by Norris Homes in Bean Station to sell pink bump caps for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The pink bump caps are $10 apiece, with Clayton Homes matching the cost of each cap, making each donation $20. The monies raised will be donated to The Patient Assistance Fund at Thompson Oncology Center in Morristown. The Patient Assistance Fund assists patients with wigs, head wraps, food and drinks and items that make patients comfortable during chemotherapy. Norris Homes in Bean Station has sold more than 250 pink bump caps, and Clayton Homes in Rutledge has sold more than 200 pink bump caps.
