WASHBURN – Members of the Washburn School FCCLA participated in the annual Hogskin History Day at Narrow Ridge Earth Literacy Center at the end of September.
Sponsor Paula Abrams said members assisted children with activities including making shakers, butterflies and caterpillars. She said all materials used were either organic or recyclable items.
They also assisted with painting pumpkins and making necklaces with small pieces of wood.
Abrams said the members also took part in ball games and went on a nature walk.
