Modern Woodmen recognizes hometown hero 

BLAINE – Tonia Reagan was recently recognized for her countless hours of service to the community during Modern Woodmen’s October monthly luncheon, Thursday, October 12. 

Reagan was honored through Modern Woodmen’s Hometown Hero Program for her active efforts to help seniors in Grainger County in all areas of service provided by the Grainger County Office on Aging. Reagan goes well beyond her required duties to make sure any senior in need of assistance gets the necessary help. 

As part of the Hometown Hero Program, the Blaine Modern Woodmen Chapter presented Reagan with a certificate and a $100 award grant. Reagan selected Grainger County Office on Aging to receive the donation. 

Reagan was also presented with a necklace from the senior citizens in appreciation for all she does.

Services available through the Office on Aging include: information and assistance, outreach, transportation by ETHRA, home-delivered meals, congregate meals, legal aid, emergency assistance and volunteer opportunities.
