PAUL EDWARD “EDDIE” MCMILLAN, 59, Mascot, passed away Wednesday, October 11. He was a member of Trentville United Methodist Church. He was a corrections officer with the Knox County Sheriff’s Department with a dedicated work ethic, and was a die-hard University of Tennessee fan. He was extremely proud of his children and was very proud of his Scottish/Irish heritage. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ruth McMillan. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Catherine (Cathy) McMillan; son, Paul McMillan; daughter, Anna (Bryan) Green; loving sisters, Rebecca (Tom) Cox and Janice (David) Godwin; sister-in-law, Joyce (Ronnie) Hale; brother-in-law, Johnny (Jennifer) Little; and several nieces and nephews, as well as many friends and co-workers. Funeral services were held Friday, October 13 at Bridges Funeral Home, with Rev. Charlie Harkleroad and Rev. Chad Roberts officiating. Family and friends met at the funeral home and traveled in procession to Woodlawn Cemetery for interment, Saturday. Pallbearers: Aaron Bowman, Will Wainwright, Bradley Cox, Mike France, Bill Purvis and Tony Clabough. Honorary pallbearers: McKaleb Harkleroad, Conner Wainwright, Steve Minor and Knox County Corrections Officers. Flowers may be sent or contributions may be made to any charity. The family received friends Friday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, (865) 523-4999,
