ROY L. MYERS


ROY L. MYERS, born in Sevier County, June 3, 1925, and a longtime resident of Blaine, member of Indian Ridge Baptist Church, retired carpenter and farmer and last remaining child of James and Elizabeth Myers, went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 14. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 1/2 years, Mary Lee Cabbage Myers; daughter, Sharon and Emert Morgan of Rutledge; daughter, Barbara and Alvin Hayes of Kodak; son, Ray and Nancy Myers of Blaine; daughter, Lois and Steve Passmore of Knoxville; grandchildren, David and Kim Morgan and Daryl and Karin Morgan, all of Rutledge, Ron Hayes of Kodak, Chris and Crystal Myers of Knoxville, Melissa and James Webb of Seymour, Samantha and Justen Collins of Cumming, Georgia, and Rachel Passmore and Natalie Passmore Wells of Halls; great-grandchildren, Jamie and Matt Harrington of Murfreesboro, Jade Morgan and Emma, Walt and Judd Morgan, all of Rutledge, Vivien and Lisette Webb of Seymour, and Oz and Stu Collins of Cumming, Georgia; and many nieces and nephews.  The family received friends Monday, October 16 at Bridges Funeral Home, followed by funeral services, with Rev. Mike Lee officiating.  Family and friends met Tuesday at Indian Ridge Cemetery for a graveside service.
