Second suspect arrested in felony theft case

WASHBURN – A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the burglary and theft of multiple items in the Black Fox community.  

Danielle Nicole Williams, 31, Washburn, faces a charge of theft more than $250,000.  

The theft was reported to the Grainger County Sheriff’s Department by the victim September 30. According to reports, items stolen included four wheelers, a skid-steer loader, camper, toy hauler, ladders, chandeliers, chainsaws, stoves, a safe and personal heirlooms. Detective Josh Pettiecord and other GCSD detectives and deputies followed up on leads, and the recovery of several items was accomplished.  

The skid-steer loader, camper, a four wheeler, generator, pool table and a stove were recovered in Claiborne, Union, Knox and Grainger Counties.  

Several items were reportedly recovered in an area on Merritt Road in Washburn.  

The sheriff’s department has expressed its appreciation for all citizens who provided information concerning this case.
