Charles Lonnie Bailey, 67, Washburn, passed away suddenly Wednesday, October 18 at his home. He was a member of Powder Springs Baptist Church and a retired employee of Star Construction with 49 years of service. He was preceded in death by his father, Vick Bailey. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Judy (Munsey) Bailey; mother, Fousteen Bailey; daughter, Melissa (Eric) Logsdon; son, Steve (Misty) Bailey; grandchildren, Preston Logsdon, Lance, Mackenzie and Addisyn Bailey; brothers, John (Sheila) Bailey and Rick Bailey, all of Washburn; and several nieces and nephews. The family received friends Friday, October 20 followed by funeral services at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, with Rev. Darrell Williams and Rev. Keith Willaims officiating and music provided by The Williams Family. Interment was held Saturday, October 21 at Liberty Hill Cemetery, Washburn. Pallbearers: Jason Munsey, Clayton Bailey, Brad Bailey, Greg Nicley, Josh Patton, Rick Atkins and Kevin Merritt. Honorary Pallbearers: Chris Bailey, Jackie Munsey, Martin Nicely, Bill Farmer, Shane Collins and Joe Nicley. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
