RUTLEDGE – Central office staff and some supervisors for Grainger County Schools donned some unusual attire Friday in support of the fight against cancer.

They partnered with Norris Homes in Bean Station by purchasing pink Bump hats and also wore pink shirts to work.

“I am very proud of the staff showing their support for such a worthwhile cause.  All families, in some way, have been touched by this terrible disease,” said Director of Schools Edwin Jarnagin.

“The staff was proud to support (the cause) and are hard workers as their ‘new’ work hats would indicate,” he said.
