Grainger High School students in Dean Mills’ automotive class won first place in the computer control car challenge competition held at McGee Tyson Air National Guard base in Alcoa. The event required the team to diagnose and repair an automotive problem in the least amount of time. The team was awarded a hundred dollars in cash, and each team member was awarded a $7,500 scholarship to Lincoln College of Technology in Nashville.
