Bean Station student candidate for Ms. Walters State 

MORRISTOWN – Lily Vail, a nursing major from Bean Station, will compete for the title of Ms. Walters State.  

Vail is the daughter of Robin Vail, and is sponsored by the Library Ambassadors.  

The crowning is part of the college’s homecoming celebration. This year, homecoming will be celebrated Friday, November 17, when the Lady Senators and the Senators host Southwest Tennessee. Ms. WSCC will be crowned during halftime of the men’s game. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m., and admission is free. 

Ms. WSCC is chosen based on an essay, a panel interview and student voting.  

Vail will compete for the title against 10 other candidates.  

Alexandria Rose Bennett, an agriculture/animal science major from Erwin, is nominated by the Walters State Ag Club. She is the daughter of Ronnie and Chris Bennett. 

Charlsey Collins, a nursing major from Russellville, is nominated by the Science Club. She is the daughter of Herman Collins and Angela Collins. 

Breanna Coriell, an elementary education major from Dandridge, is nominated by the Student Tennessee Education Club. She is the daughter of Mike and Malissa Pistole. 

Heatherlee Gentry, an English major from Talbott, is sponsored by the International Club. She is the daughter of Donna Gentry. 

Katey Gibson, a pre-optometry major from Sneedville, is sponsored by the Senators Pages. She is the daughter of Michael and Deborah Gibson. 

Maris Medford, a physical therapist assistant major from Morristown, is sponsored by the Psychology Club. She is the daughter of Jeff Medford and Ellen Pillsbury.   

Pierce Morgan, a pre-veterinary science major from New Market, is sponsored by Phi Theta Kappa. She is the daughter of Tim and Kasie Morgan. 

Cassidy Renee Richardson, a pre-imaging sciences major from Sevierville, is sponsored by the Sevier County Ambassadors. She is the daughter of Amy and Travis James.   

Mary Rogers, a general studies major from Morristown, is sponsored by the Student Government Association. She is the daughter of Tom and Loletta Rogers. 

Megan Wesemann, a pre-enginnering major from Rogersville, is the daughter of Cynthia and Vonn Wesemann. She is sponsored by the Word Up Club.
