Just in time for Thanksgiving, [Text Wrapping Break]Grainger County pre-K students offer tips for how to prepare a turkey. 

Bean Station Elementary School 

Temperance Daniels (age 4) – “Glue a turkey to put her back together.”  

Isaiah Trent (age 4) – “Get some meat on it.  Get some salt.  Get some pepper on it.” 

Karrah Middleton (age 4) – “I would cook it.” 

Alex Lackey (age 5) – “I would just chop it up and put it in the fridge.” 

Aleaha Pace (age 5) – “Fry it.” 

Gabriel Mendoza (age 5) – “I would cook it at my house. I would put salt on it.  My Mom would cook it.” 

Will Blankenship (age 4) – “Easily. So easy.  I would just eat it for everybody.” 

Trenton Hogsed (age 4) – “You put chicken on it and bake it.” 

Brookelynn Messer (age 4) – “Chicken with pepper, I don’t know.” 

Ava Price (age 5) – “Put salt on it and that’s all.” 

Harper Brabson (age 4) – “You put a big bag and little hands over it.  It has short legs, and you roast it in the oven.”  

Laylah Millar (age 4) – “You fry it!”  

Kinley Carter (age 4) – “Cook it on the stove and in the microwave and frying pan with ketchup.” 

Nolyn Collins (age 5) – “Put it on the stove and cook it.  When it gets done, get it out and eat it.” 

Colton Bunch (age 4) – “Put it in a pot and cook beans.”  

Brinnon Robinson (age 5) – “Put salt on it. Fry it!” 

Wyatt Orrick (age 5) – “With a pot and a knife, you eat it.  You fry it in a stove.”  

Aaliyah Wambaugh (age 4) – “With a stove,  you cook it!” 

 Mason Kiestler (age 4) – “A pan and a spoon. Crack the eggs. She’d eat it.”   

Washburn Elementary School 

Abel Fox – I put bacon and cheese sticks and a burger on the turkey, then flip it up and down and put it upside down and cook for 1 minute at 100, then eat it.  

Corbin Frye – Put it in the oven for 6 minutes on 1, then eat it.” 

Austin Bailey – “Walmart, chicken, cereal, cookies, then go back home. Stay home, go to sleep.” 

Gabriel Hobby – “On your microphone then put on the oven hot and put bacon on it and that’s it. Cook it long.” 

Conner Welch – “With a stove… for 20 minutes and then get it out and eat it.” 

Levi Ritter – “Well, I make a turkey that goes like this… I think I will just cook it up and chop it in 3 halves and chop a chicken into a 100 halves and that’s all. Cook it on 55º for 100 hours.”  

Colt Ferrell – “In a oven for 30 days at hot, then make it a chicken. Then take it out of the oven and eat it.” 

Levi Beard – “I would cook it in the oven for 10 seconds to make it really, really hot. I would slice it up in a piece or two.”  

Carson Bailey – “Put it in the oven when it’s really hot and cook it for 5 minutes and then eat it.” 

Brylee Bowlin – “Put it in the oven. Bake it for 5 minutes.” 

Bree Williams – “Put it in a pan. Put it in the oven. Cook for 3 seconds.” 

Makenna Spoone – “Put it in the oven, then put it in the microwave for 10 minutes. Then we’ll eat it.” 

Charlee Phifer – “Kill a turkey, then put it in the oven. Cook it for 30 seconds.”  

Amelia Brooks – “Put corn and apples on it. Cook it on 4º for 5 days.” 

Eliza Rose –  “Flip it over and put it in a different plate. Cook it in a pot. Put it on a big plate.” 

Jazmyn Richardson – “Put it in the oven. Then flip it over. Cook for 5 minutes. Then you can eat it.” 

Adalynn Singleton – “Cut it with a knife, put it in the stove. Cook on low for 5 hours. Put in a plate.”  

Lady Johnson – “Put it on the stove. Heat it up to 130º for 40 seconds. Get it out and put it on a plate.” 

Brooklynn Brown – “Put it in the microwave for 20 minutes. Get a fork and knife, then you eat it.” 

Marely Lucas – “Put it on the fire for 6 minutes.” 

Joppa Elementary School 

Alaina – “Put some sugar on it and bake it in the oven.” 

McKenzie – “Hang it on the door and then put it in a pot and cook it.” 

Raylin – “ Buy it at the store and cook it in the oven with potatoes, carrots and corn.”  

Aubree – “Get me at the stove and cook it in the pan.” 

Willie –  “Daddy will shoot it and cook it in the oven with gravy.”  

Wyatt C. – “Get it from the store and put it in a pan and cook it on the stove.” 

Paisley – “Put in a pot and cook it in the oven and add blueberries.” 

 Farin – “Cook it in an oven.” 

 Alexis – “Cook it in the oven.” 

Wyatt M. – “Shoot it and put it in a big pot.”  

Kenzley – “In a pan with eggs on the stove.” 

Hunter – “Catch it, then shoot it. Put it in a frying pan. Turn the oven on and cook it for three hours.”  

Madalyn – “Cook it in a pot with a rooster and add salt.” 

Lexi – “Put seasoning and cheese on it and cook it in the oven with ham.”  

Paxton – “Put salt on it and let it fry in the pan.” 

Adalyn – “Put it in the macaroni and the cook it in the oven.” 

 Shawn – “Put some ingredients in it and cook it with an apple.” 

 Rutledge Primary School 

Adalin – “You have to cut the turkey and put it on the stove.” 

Macee – “Get a pan out and then you fry the turkey and then you eat it.”  

Madelyn – “You have to kill the turkey and then put it in the stove.” 

Savannah – “You cook the turkey in the stove until it beeps and then you eat it.” 

Samantha –  “You stir the Turkey and put it in the stove.”  

Zek – “Pat the turkey and then put it in the microwave.” 

Ivy – “You put the turkey in the oven.” 

Jaslynn – “Put it in the stove.”  

Paisley – “You cook it in the oven.” 

 Riley – “You put it in a pot and put it on the stove.”  

Makenna – “You cook it on the grill.” 

Jasmine – “You cook it in the oven.”  

Emerson – “Use a spatula, grill it on a grill and use a knife to cut it.”  

Jonathon – “You stuff it, pluck it and cook it at home.”  

Emerick – “You cook it in the kitchen.”  

Jose – “You cook it in the oven.” 

Paxton – “You put it in the oven and cook it.” 

Noah – “You put it in the oven.” 

 Jordan – “You cook it in the oven and eat it.” 

 Evan – “You put it in the oven.”
