Third suspect charged with theft more than $250,000

WASHBURN – A third suspect has been arrested in connection with a burglary and theft case in the Black Fox community.

Dustin Lynn Collins, 28, New Tazewell, is the third individual to be arrested in connection with the theft of multiple items from a residence on Black Fox Road. The theft was reported to the Grainger County Sheriff’s Department by the victim September 30.

Multiple items, including a camper, kayak, jukebox, pool table, four-wheeler, skid steer loader and many other items were reported stolen.

Several of the stolen items were reportedly recovered by authorities.

James Williams, 30, and Danielle Nicole Williams, 31, both of Washburn, were previously arrested in connection with the thefts.

Collins faces a charge of theft more than $250,000 in connection with the thefts.

He also faces charges in connection with the theft of a canoe and boat parts and accessories from a boat docked on Norris Lake in Washburn. He faces a charge of theft more than $1,000 but less than $10,000 in that case.
