RUTLEDGE – A Rutledge woman has been arrested after she allegedly stole tools from a man whose home she lives in, after he refused to give her money.

Kimberly Michelle Haney, 45, Rutledge, reportedly told the victim she wanted $275. After he refused to give her the money, she allegedly told him she would take his tools out of his garage and pawn or sell them.

Later, the victim reportedly arrived at home to find a pickup truck loaded with his tools, and Haney loading more tools in it.

The driver of the truck reportedly told the victim that Haney had said he was ok with her selling the tools.  Haney is facing a charge of theft more than $6,000.
