Carson Neal Moles, 98, Bean Station, was born June 24, 1919, and departed this life Nov. 20 after a lingering illness. He professed his faith in 1934 at age 14. He was a member of Community Chapel Church in Bean Station, where he was a song leader and deacon. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife, Etta Moles; son, Clifford; mother, Birdie; father, Vester; and brother, Jessie James. He is survived by his sons, Roland (Phairia) Moles, Bean Station and Dale (Shirley) Moles, Mooresburg; granddaughters, Angie (Richie), Bean Station and Sandi (Frank), Eagle River, Alaska; grandson, Randy (Becky), Morristown; and great-grandchildren, Brandon, Joe and Nick. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Nov. 22 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 24 at 10 a.m. in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel, with burial to follow at Sutton Cemetery- Upper Caney Valley on Jackson Ridge Road.
