Ella Darlene Dalton, 62, Washburn, was born April 17, 1955 and went to her heavenly home November 24, after a brief illness. She was one of God’s special angels. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron “Boot” and Helen Dalton and nephew, Dennis Dalton. She is survived by her brothers, Verlyn (Terry) Dalton and Randy Dalton; sisters, Cathy (Larry) Blankenship and Debrah “Jean” (Jerry) Brock; nephews and nieces, Melinda (Kermit) Kaitlyn, Storm, Kelsey, Dustin and Ryan Carpenter, Jeff (Michelle) Andrew, Will Blankenship, Jody (Lindsay) Devan, Riley Dalton and Christina Dalton; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. The family expressed thanks to Anita McAnally, Jana Lewis and Janet Sumner from Smoky Mountain Hospice for their special love and care. The family received friends Monday, Nov. 27 at Clinch Valley American Christian Church. Funeral Services were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 28 at Clinch Valley American Christian Church, with Rev. Tommy Russell, Rev. Jerry Epperson and Rev. Tony Williams officiating. Music was provided by Jerry, Carolyn and Mark Epperson. Burial followed in the Clinch Valley Cemetery. Pallbearers: Randy McAnally, Stanley Dalton, Randall Collins, Kevin Atkins, Jarrod Atkins, Roger Atkins, Victor Atkins and Rick Dalton. Honorary Pallbearers: Jeff, Andrew and Will Blankenship, Jody, Devan and Riley Dalton and Storm and Kermit Carpenter.
