Edward “Eddie” Eugene Neff Sr

Edward “Eddie” Eugene Neff Sr., 51, Rutledge, went to be with the Lord peacefully, December 1 at his home where he was surrounded by his wife and three of his children. He was born October 5, 1966 in Knoxville and was a longtime employee of Shoney’s Inc. of Knoxville for 35 years. He was a loving and hardworking father, husband and friend. He is survived by his wife, Rachel (Brostean) Neff; and four children: Jennifer, Eddie Jr., Emmelie and Ethan Neff; brother, Kenny Neff; father-in-law, Ray Brostean; mother-in-law, Pam Brostean; sister-in-law, Randi and husband, Bradley Simmons; several nieces and nephews; grandmother, Frances Gambino; and many lifelong friends who he considered family. Friends and family visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 6 at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home, where the Celebration of Life Service will follow at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to First Tennessee Bank in Rachel Neff’s name.
