Matthew Tyler Livesay


Matthew Tyler Livesay, 30, Morristown, passed away December 1 at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital.  He was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church, where he sang in the choir and had a heart for missions. He was a 2006 graduate of Morristown Hamblen High School East, a 2010 graduate of East TN State University and obtained his Masters of Divinity at Liberty University.  He was an instructor with the Youth Build Project for the Knoxville Leadership Foundation. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Livesay and Mr. and Mrs. Arvin Campbell. He is survived by his wife of four years, Anna Livesay; parents, Dennis and Becky Livesay; sister, Robyn and husband, Dr. Ryan Stump; nephew and niece, Eli and Ella Stump; uncles and aunts, Mark and Lorri Livesay and Mike and Jocelyn Campbell; and great-aunt, Katherine Wright. The family received friends Saturday, December 2 at Sevier Heights Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life service followed, with Dr. Hollie Miller and Rev. Charlie McNutt officiating. Graveside services were held at Morristown Hamblen Memorial Gardens.
