Kenneth Newell Fox, 77, Corryton, went home to be with his heavenly Father Friday, December 8. He was a member of Marbledale Baptist Church. He was a loving and hardworking husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He always provided for his family, who were the light of his life. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Betty; parents, Jess and Frances Fox; and brothers-in-law, Tommy Everette and Paul Satterfield. He is survived by his daughters, Sharon Fox and Rhonda (Jackie) Monday; granddaughters, whom he loved dearly, Brittaney (Blake) Thompson and Kelli (Caleb) Smith; great-granddaughters, who were the light of his life, Makenli and Rilyn Smith; brother, Jimmy (Maxine) Fox; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Everette and Linda Satterfield; nieces, Vickie Powell and Angie Fox; several other nieces and nephews; and special friends, Debbie and Mike Clevenger and Jimmy and Beulah Branson. He is also survived by his loving dog, Gypsy. The family expressed thanks to the staff at Tennova North for their excellent care and compassion. Family and friends will meet at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, December 13 at Bridges Funeral Home to leave in procession for a 1 p.m. graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery.
