Judge Slone awarded for making a difference

MURFREESBORO – Judge Duane Slone was awarded for his efforts to make a difference during the 13th Annual Recovery Court Drug Conference held Dec. 6 through Dec. 8.

The event was hosted by the Tennessee Association of Drug Court Professionals.

Tennessee’s representative to the Regional Judicial Opioid Initiative, Slone was awarded a “Making a Difference” award, along with another judge, Judge Timothy R. Brock of the 14th Judicial District.

Also recognized during the event were Tennessee State Senator Janice Bowling, District 16, and Tennessee State Representative Courtney Rogers, District 45. They received the Rod Bragg Recovery Hero Award.
