Cherokee Powersports

BEAN STATION – Cherokee Powersports Sales and Service offers hometown powersports services to Grainger County residents.

The business is owned by Rutledge residents Shaun and Amanda Rhodes.

Shaun said Cherokee Powersports Sales and Service allows Grainger County residents to purchase powersport equipment locally at reduced prices.

“Our goal is, if they have to finance something, they can get a unit they like and finance it for $200 a month or cheaper,” said Shaun.

Cherokee Powersports Sales and Service recently partnered with Massimo and will begin carrying their product soon. Customers will have the ability to purchase anything from go-karts to all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) with 1000 cc (cubic centimeters). Shaun said Massimo has a better warranty than most manufacturers in the market.

Customers can purchase a variety of powersports equipment at Cherokee Powersports Sales and Service from motorcycles, ATVs and side-by-sides to dirt bikes, golf carts and jet skis.

Cherokee Powersports Sales and Service will begin renting kayaks in spring 2022.

In addition to its sales options, Cherokee Powersports Sales and Service offers a powersport service department for its customers. Service Manager Robby Thomas can service most powersport vehicles at a lower rate than most competitors, according to Shaun.

Customers who purchase from Cherokee Powersports Sales and Service can also have their vehicles warrantied at the business.

Due to a nationwide inventory shortage, Cherokee Powersports Sales and Service does not currently have a large selection of powersport vehicles in its inventory. However, Shaun said the business’ stock should increase within 60 days.

Shaun encouraged area residents to visit Cherokee Powersports Sales and Service and support local business. He said the business would help customers save time and money.

“We’re not everybody’s cup of tea, but there’s a lot of people who ride,” said Shaun.

“Somebody rides something, if it’s water, on the road, in the woods, four-wheelers…” Amanda said.

“Just about every family has somebody that rides something. They enjoy some type of toy, and we’re the place to come get your adult toys,” said Shaun.

Cherokee Powersports Sales and Service will hold a grand opening at a later date.

Cherokee Powersports Sales and Service is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at 4050 Hwy. 25E, Bean Station.
