All systems go at Grainger High School

RUTLEDGE – All communication systems are back in service at Grainger High School after phones, intercom and bells were knocked out during a power outage that closed all schools except Washburn Tuesday, November 16.

Schools reopened the following day, but Director of Schools James Atkins said the systems at GHS were not working. He notified parents by text and phone those systems would not be working that day.

“It took a couple of days, but all systems are working again. There were no disruptions and school administrators handled everything great,” Atkins said.
