Applications available for small business expo

RUTLEDGE – Applications are now available for a spring small business expo sponsored by Hometown Businesses of Grainger County. 

Applications can be found at and mailed to P.O. Box 614, Rutledge and are due Thursday, April 1. 

The expo is designed to support Grainger County businesses. In order to apply to be a vendor, businesses must be located in Grainger County. Guests from all locations are welcome. 

The small business expo will be held Saturday, April 24 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., rain or shine. Vendors are required to keep booths set-up during the entirety of the event. All vendor locations are first come, first served. Vendors must send a non-refundable vendor payment with their application to ensure a booth is reserved. All money collected from the event will go toward making the event successful. If funds are in excess, money will be donated to a charitable cause in Grainger County of the Hometown Businesses of Grainger County board’s choice. 

Hometown Businesses of Grainger County representative Angela Owens said the organization will follow any county or state mandates regarding COVID-19 during the event. If a mask mandate is in effect, guests and vendors will be asked to comply with the mandate.
