BEAN STATION – More than $10,000 and about a pound of methamphetamine was recovered during the execution of a search warrant at a Crosby Drive home in Bean Station Wednesday, August 5.
Officers with the 3rd and 4th Judicial District Drugs and Violent Crimes Task Forces, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and Grainger County Sheriff’s Department executed the search warrant. About one pound of methamphetamine and $10,495 were seized, and a flat bed trailer reported as stolen out of Hawkins County was recovered, according to reports.
One individual was reportedly arrested on outstanding warrants out of Claiborne County and another individual who arrived at the residence during the execution of the warrant was cited in lieu of arrest on four misdemeanor charges.
Officers are not releasing the names of those involved, due to an ongoing investigation. Information gathered as a result of the investigation will be presented to a state or federal grand jury in the coming months.
