Alice Faye DeGroot De St. Aubin, 83, Bean Station, Tennessee, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 26, 2021.
Alice was born to Lester and Sophie DeGroot August 8, 1938.
Not only will she be missed by her family but also by the many friends she made throughout the years as she waitressed in Aurora, Illinois.
She is survived by her children, Wayne (Margaret) Steward of Watertown, Wisconsin, Denise (Dave) Campbell of Yorkville, Illinois, Curt (Dee) Steward Jr of Port Charlotte, Florida, Cindy Boggs of Bean Station, Tennessee and Elmer (Shelly) Harris of Aurora, Illinois; stepchildren, Thomas Harris Jr. of Spicewood, Texas, Harold Harris, Donald Harris, David Harris, Doug (Judy) Theis of Winthrop, Illinois, Terry (Carol) Theis of Viola, Wisconsin, Mary Oost of Plano, Illinois, David (Lori) Theis of Proctor, Minnesota, Mark (Betsy) Theis of E. Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, John Theis of Pontiac, Illinois and Laura (Steve) Ruzbasan of Dyer, Indiana; her sisters, Lorraine (Dewey) Christopherson of Tivoli, Illinois and Kathy Moore of Santa Rosa, California; brother, Richard (Jeri) DeGroot of Dallas, Georgia; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Sophie (Dunn) Degroot; husband, Raymond De St. Aubin; former husbands, Curtis Steward, Thomas Harris Sr. and Albert Theis; stepdaughter, Nadine Harris; son-in-law, Robbie Boggs; great-granddaughter, Caylin Aaliyah Narney and very close friend, Jean Johnson.
There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers. donations in her name may be made to your local Alzheimer's Association, Hospice or to a charity of one's choice.
