James Edward McDaniel (Eddie), 87, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a lifetime farmer and a member of Central Point Baptist Church in Rutledge, TN.
James is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Ada McDaniel; sister, Dorothy Greenlee; and brothers, Bill, Everett, Herman and Robert McDaniel.
James is survived by his wife of 70 years, Marie McDaniel; and sister, Peggy (Dan) Jarnigan; along with several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Phil Codey, Roland Holt, Jim Bull, Donnie Hodge, Jackie McDaniel and Dan Jarnigan and honorary pallbearer Rodney Atkins.
The family will be receiving friends Thursday May 25, 2023 between the hours of 5 to 7 p.m. with the funeral service to follow. Interment will be at Central Point Baptist Church Cemetery Friday, May 26, 2023 at 1 p.m. Officiating all services will be Pastor Lee Brickey.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Duck and his staff, Jefferson Memorial Hospital, and caregiver Corinna (Toddy) Lett.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Central Point Baptist Church cemetery fund.
