Ginger I. Wilmoth Parker

Ginger I. Wilmoth Parker, age 76, of Washburn, went to be with the Lord Sunday, May 17, 2020. She was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Ginger was a beautician for 54 years. She loved the Lord and always had a smile for everyone. Ginger loved to laugh and made food for anyone in need. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Edna Wilmoth; and husband of 49 years whom she loved dearly, Syllus Parker. She is survived by her daughter, Tara (Billy) Simmons; grandson, Hunter (Mikayla Hooper) Simmons; granddaughter, Payton Simmons; special cousin, Judy Harrell; and several nieces and nephews. The family offers special thanks to Deb McGinnis, Della Beeler, Darlene Suffridge, Bobbie Nicley, Darlene Coffey and the wonderful staff at Heritage Center in Morristown. The family received friends Thursday, May 21, 2020, at Bridges Funeral Home followed by the funeral service with Rev. Greg Hurst and Travis Proffitt officiating. Music was provided by the Hurst Family. Family and friends met Friday at Riddle Cemetery in Thornhill, TN for interment. Pallbearers were David Vance, Nathan Parker, Dwayne Sellers, Lee Ed Hurst, Justin Hurst and Adam Hooper. Honorary pallbearers were Bernstein Hurst and Chester McDaniel.
