Michael Roger Cabbage, 59, Rutledge, went to be with the Lord Sunday, August 29. He was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church, a retired farmer and an avid VOL fan.
He was preceded in death by parents, Carson and Evelyn Cabbage; and grandparents, W. H. and Susan Cabbage and Robert and Louvenia Biddle. Mike is survived by wife of 39 years, Lisa Cameron Cabbage; daughter, Amy Cabbage; son, Kirk Cabbage; brothers, Ronnie (AnnaJean), Bob (Sharon), Tom (Kathy) and John (Debbie); sister, Sue (Doug) McBee; mother-in-law, Mary Evelyn Cameron; sister-in-law, Doris (Charlie) McGaha; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Bobby Joe Hankins; and special pet, Bandit.
Per Covid Guidelines, public viewing will be held Wednesday, September 1 and Thursday, September 2 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Pallbearers are Ryan, Luke, Brad, Jeremy and Matt Cabbage, Chase and Skylar McBee, Chuck McGaha, Jim Yates, Steve Hodge and Ethan Warden. Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Joe Hankins, Randy White, David Griffin, Mike Campbell and Charlie McGaha.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Buffalo Baptist Church youth fund in c/o Norma Sinnamon, Buffalo Baptist Church, 8458 Indian Ridge Road, Rutledge, TN 37861.
A private graveside service will be held with Mike Lee officiating.
