WASHBURN – The Lady Pirates finished the regular season on a winning note, handing the Greenback Lady Cherokees their first loss of the season 5-2 in a District 2A home game Monday, May 3.

COSBY – The Washburn High School Pirates got back in the win column against Cosby High School, rallying from an early four-run deficit to defeat the Eagles, 17-8, Monday, April 19.

DANDRIDGE – The Rutledge Middle School Lady Pioneers took first place in six events and the Pioneers won four events in a dual meet against Jefferson Middle School Thursday, April 15.

RUTLEDGE – The Rutledge Middle School Lady Pioneers split two games with Claiborne Middle School Monday, April 12, winning the junior varsity game and falling in the varsity contest.

RUTLEDGE – Last week’s softball action started on a positive note for the Grainger High School Lady Grizzlies when they won two games against teams from Knoxville, but it ended rather roughly as they dropped all four contests in a tournament in Northeast Tennessee.  

RUTLEDGE – The Rutledge Middle School Lady Pioneer softball team came up short in their first home game of the season, falling 10-4 to Campbell Middle School Monday, April 5.
