SEYMOUR – The Grainger High School Grizzly football team not only wanted to make the football playoffs but wanted to earn an even higher seed in the TSSAA post-season. They did that Friday, October 14 with a 28-7 road win over Seymour High School.

The Grizzlies used a smothering defense and made the Eagles pay for three critical special teams mistakes as they earned the number three seed in the district. They will face either Fulton, Gibbs or Carter high school in the first round of the playoffs Friday, November 4.
