Washburn Pirate seniors honored

WASHBURN – Washburn High School Pirates’ five senior baseball players were recognized prior to the first pitch of the team’s game against Hampton High School Friday,

April 23.

Players were introduced individually by Athletic Director Aaron Clay and escorted to the field by family members.

The players were Dustin Conant, two-year team member, accompanied by his parents, Dustin and Misty Conant;

Taylor Kiser, four years, accompanied by Maria Williams, David Thomas and grandparents, Doug and Linda Williams;

James Lineham III, four years, accompanied by his parents James and Sandy Lineham;

Justin Rotella, five years, accompanied by mother, Kim Rotella; and

Izic Wolfenbarger, four years starter, accompanied by his parents Keith and Theresa Wolfenbarger.

Clay said banners with their names on them will be hung on the locker room wall.
